Symmetry of Our life
Though its cold,my heart is warm,
You came only to find it gone,
In tears,it was torn,
Pretence,a facade i seldom worn,
Pretence,for a decade you worn,
In tears our lives asunder torn,
I was gone,you came late.
Though my heart warm,it was cold.
It was the love of hate,
In our lives you put,
Doubts and distrust,
Now we are strangers,
It is a strange us,
I doubt this is trust,
That is put in our lives,
Causing a hate of love.
Does the gods upon us smile?
Hardly!
Ours is an accursed fate,
Looking for love and more love,
Looking,but theres no more love,
Is our fate our curse?
Hardly!
Its our smile that is no longer god!
I write from my heart, as an amateur poet whose love for math, philosophy and knowledge guides my pen and trickles down to the essence of the poems therein. I love engaging with you: for criticism, please feel free to write your thoughts on the poems or ideas you have or even give suggestions.
