THE APOLOGY
before i will read your eulogy,
allow me this apology
let it as a balm sooth your sore
before Gods breath leave thy lips
hear me once more,
and let your tired yet merciful ear
no sweeter words ever get to hear.
for all the opportunity you missed,
for life is a zero sum game,
i won because you lost.
though it wasn't fair,
that's life for you,
but allow me to weep a tear,
and let us, the hatred tear.
to the unborn that i killed,
before they saw the suns splendor,
snatched their chance,
for destroying their habitat,
to enrich my tattered pocket,
i have but one wish,
that all will be well,
on the past we cease to dwell.
but mostly to my God,
i was made to be non but the best,
yet am anything but my best,
i have passed many chances,
lacked strength in face of temptations,
now i am a Divine shell,
only worth to be shelved,
but i turn to him in my grief,
and hope to turn a new leaf.
I write from my heart, as an amateur poet whose love for math, philosophy and knowledge guides my pen and trickles down to the essence of the poems therein. I love engaging with you: for criticism, please feel free to write your thoughts on the poems or ideas you have or even give suggestions.

THE CONDO
THE CONDOMINIUM
a mansion,this house wasn't
always,
it is entwined with my history,
ill unfold its mystery-
you see:
i laid every stone in pure art,
dug the firm foudation with tact,
furnished every cozy room,
i built this house on my own...
I took pains to plant,
the seeds of green bushes,
now these hedges doth show,
an enigma of leafy health!
Behold an edifice of stone,
none equal to this one,
even kings want to live,
in this adorned manor,
but you see:
i toiled day and night,
wrought the bars with steel,
crowned the rails with gold,
and crested the windows with
diamonds...
So in town the ladies flirt,
giggle in seductive guffaws,
just for an invite to my house of
stone,
to touch tiled smooth floors,
and breathe in the fragrant violet
paint,
but you see:
the grass is greener yonder,
their huts stand undone,
as they adore my indian-styled
facade,
so i let laziness flood their abode,
because mine is built on a rock!
ASSASSIN
ASSASSIN
on the night prior
the night i died
i barricaded my citadel
and reinforced my fortress
i built a strong wall
hour upon the hour
to surround mine tower
on that night
it was serene,not a sound
no youth did maraud
i slept safe and sound
as does so few
until the morn broke a new
on the day i died
who let you into my house?
i didn't hear you break
nor the dog untimely bark
but what did it matter
there i lay injured
wondering what you were
what did the ether conjure?
before my last blink
your face my only link
soft as a petal methinks
assassin trained in lethality
though i felt the cold metal in my
lung,
that i knew was cold steel
its warm glow said it was made of
love
forged mine heart to steal
WALK THE WORDS
words of loves
that span the prose,
phrases from the heart
from the undying flame
but they are just that,words
written on paper.
promises and prophesies,
that riddle the antiquities,
ancient scroll to modern books;
all promise a better day'
but they are just that,words
written on paper.
so i'll not read the paper
nor will i read your letter
your message is in my bin
so are your poems,essays
because they are just that,words
written on blank paper.
what happened to strong works,
gone are the deeds of men.
children are bought pens
to write meaningless words.
lets be people of deeds,actions
for they are carved in stone
CURIOUS SONG
CURIOUS
SONG
the urge to sing
in every being,doth ring
in their very breath, the magic it
bring
sweeter than the flutter
of a soft wing.
yet my curiosity rose'
so to search my heart chose.
men in the orchestra cried
under the church bell,married
beside the death knell,were
buried
their life,a song,who could have
denied
my curiosity was still high
but i shrugged with a patient sigh
i saw the birds in a song beaming
to wake me up,in groups,teaming
i floated in their heavenly singing
the virtue of music is giving
and that of life is musically living
and as i have thus demonstrated
my curiosity in music was thus
sated

I GRIND IN THE MILL
I GRIND IN THE MILL
life is a lesson,
we learn by the feet of the aged sage
we listen and are informed,
we see and perceive,
hear and hearken,
we drink from the world
and grind in its mills
we are grains being ground,
to make ever soft a flour,
just as buds turn to flower,
seconds morph into an hour
caterpillar into butterfly,
then on summer wing fly,
we churn and turn,
and live and learn
and are thus ground in the mills of life...
And in the workshop,
metal red,
in the anvil struck hot
and metal sharpens metal,
we are made by others sharpened us,
and thus if in life we live,
then we are also milled and gnashed
in the mill of life.
And though most know not,
i smile underground,
as i grind in the mill.
life is a lesson,
we learn by the feet of the aged sage
we listen and are informed,
we see and perceive,
hear and hearken,
we drink from the world
and grind in its mills
we are grains being ground,
to make ever soft a flour,

as i grind in the mill.
YOU HURT ME
You hurt me,
When i light my lazy flame,
You put it of with your wind,
... You make my candle do a dance,
Then extinguish its fiery flare,
and Leave me in an anguish glare,
And i hurt because,
You hurt me.
You incense me,
With your senseless silly talk,
Lovely niceties,yet sweet nothings,
Words without thought,
Hollowed out by heated hate,
You say its me you live and love,
Yet you don't surely show,
My anger as incense burns
Thats why am incensed,
You kill me,
And then haunt my hut,
Place my cadaver in a sarcophagus,
For eternal thaw of thy love,
When,you run as a nun,
A bee with honey yet lusts for money,
Reduce our vows to mere verbiage,
Imprison me then impersonate,
Thats why am dead inside,
Because you kill me!
When i light my lazy flame,
You put it of with your wind,
... You make my candle do a dance,
Then extinguish its fiery flare,
and Leave me in an anguish glare,
And i hurt because,
You hurt me.
You incense me,
With your senseless silly talk,

Thats why am dead inside,

life is strife
life is the kitchen chef
burning a finger and a limb
lighting the fire at the hearth
...if hungry we must eat
then the heat must defeat
life is the cold ice
that cool the summers heat
and add the chill to the sunny
thrill
if hot the day is to cool
then we must confront the frost
life is humanity
its the love that lasts
its the care and caress
its is the occasional hate
for if peace and tranquility is to
exist
then hate we must mediate
life is chaos
a myriad of hopes and dreams
a culmination of inculcations
a frenzy of fights and fracas
for if we want to play our part
then we must join lifes circus
burning a finger and a limb
lighting the fire at the hearth
...if hungry we must eat
then the heat must defeat
life is the cold ice
that cool the summers heat
and add the chill to the sunny
thrill
if hot the day is to cool

ice is my ace
the ice ace
this sad mad man
who lives in the icy world
lonely and melancholic
emptiness that's what is
ice is this mans ace
the cold house is an igloo
he married a spice,an ice queen
a spectacle to envy
jealousy that's what is
ice is this mans ace
so when phoebus, the
phlegmatic
came with his fiery fiendish flame
and melted his aged icy world
hell that's what was
the ace died of course
this sad mad man
who lives in the icy world
lonely and melancholic
emptiness that's what is
ice is this mans ace
the cold house is an igloo
he married a spice,an ice queen
a spectacle to envy
jealousy that's what is
ice is this mans ace
so when phoebus, the

came with his fiery fiendish flame
and melted his aged icy world
hell that's what was
the ace died of course
