CURIOUS
SONG
the urge to sing
in every being,doth ring
in their very breath, the magic it
bring
sweeter than the flutter
of a soft wing.
yet my curiosity rose'
so to search my heart chose.
men in the orchestra cried
under the church bell,married
beside the death knell,were
buried
their life,a song,who could have
denied
my curiosity was still high
but i shrugged with a patient sigh
i saw the birds in a song beaming
to wake me up,in groups,teaming
i floated in their heavenly singing
the virtue of music is giving
and that of life is musically living
and as i have thus demonstrated
my curiosity in music was thus
sated
I write from my heart, as an amateur poet whose love for math, philosophy and knowledge guides my pen and trickles down to the essence of the poems therein. I love engaging with you: for criticism, please feel free to write your thoughts on the poems or ideas you have or even give suggestions.
