Lets call it love

the ageless deeds from time past
floating on the dreams of the lazy
while the wise's remain unperturbed
but even they stand ignorant
hazy are the feelings of the youths
this illusionary feeling
has baffled the modern generation
let us laugh with the common crowd
we will synchronize our breathing
and call it love.

the passing cannot be eternal
nor the unknowable demystified
in fear of the unknown
a name makes all too familiar
and soon the fear effaces
we become experts all to soon
the logical lays bare the magical
while emotions swirl into chaos
in that confusion we see clearly
this is beauty, lets call it love

then sooner than you know
the bond will break at room temperature
and the melting emotions will elude
we shall blame the sublime
after the passage of wrinkled time.
