I write from my heart, as an amateur poet whose love for math, philosophy and knowledge guides my pen and trickles down to the essence of the poems therein. I love engaging with you: for criticism, please feel free to write your thoughts on the poems or ideas you have or even give suggestions.

HOUDINI
shall i say i love you?
when you stir my waters,
and cause a raging wave,
yet when the tempest roars,
you say 'calm!'
and all is still.
I was a pack of cards,
i felt shuffled,
then placed in a shoe,
i was your ace,
in the final hand.
a gambit against life.
With your wand you had me,
you cast a spell,
i was enchanted,
i tried to break free,
but you got me hypnotized.
My master i slave,
the expert magician
you deceived the mind
rather than the eye
then crept to my heart.
