long before she called me a son,
because i shone as the sun,
i was beaming in her belly,
fresh moulded in heaven,
and i was lovely a son,
and now we are one,
and we have met,
but even before we met,
my love was greater yet,
the world in my debt,
for i was an ally to venus,
i spanned the heavens,
and bordered the empty void.
and in the expanse of life,
in the wilderness of strife
whilst you lost all belief
i came and you were relieved,
you saw and you believed,
with hope you healed and lived,
even as all around you fell...
Long before you would see,
all around you crumble,
as the facades would tumble,
i made it humble,
lest you cry and gumble
i cried so you had joy,
even as hecuba queen of troy.
and long before our eyes locked,
in your heart i sow a seed,
to yield love bountifully
behold it grows beautifully,
it branches in awesome splendor,
i reap from my aged endeavor
and long after iam gone,
you'll have what ive done,
and forever we will be one,
i, your loves son.
Who shone as the sun
and not a finger did burn.
I write from my heart, as an amateur poet whose love for math, philosophy and knowledge guides my pen and trickles down to the essence of the poems therein. I love engaging with you: for criticism, please feel free to write your thoughts on the poems or ideas you have or even give suggestions.
